We are in what you would call a testing period right now. We have molds done and decoys prototypes finished and are just putting them through everyday abuse. I can tell you that they so far have worked GREAT!!!

Stanke, Welcome to the Avery message board. The GHG snow and blue goose fullbodies are being worked on(prototypes) and will be available for the 2005 season. They will be sold in six packs with a juvenile bird per box.
These will be awesome and worth the wait for us snowgoose hunters, believe me!

Stanke,
As Travis and Jed have stated we are currently testing the Active snow and blue full bodies. Fred will be working on finishing the feeder in the coming months. The Actives as of now have two heads, a low head and higher head. The higher head isn't near a sentry or a looker; it is still a relaxed looking head to where the low head is more of a rester. We will be selling them as adults and juveniles mixed. The ones that we have are unbelievable!
Be on the look out for these in 05'
Thanks,

I have also seen these decoys and you will not believe your eyes in how realistic these are. I am ready to try these out for myself this year down in south Louisiana with Jed, if he can find us some geese, if he can't, he can come up to Arkansas and try them out with me up there. What do you think, Jed?

Stanke,
I got the opportunity to hunt over some of the full body prototype snows with Travis when he was up here in Canada. They are awesome looking decoys and are extremely effective, especially when used with motion stakes. Ever since I've been involved with Avery, time has been taken to research, develop and fine tune new products. That is what we are doing with the full body snows this season. When you see them, you'll be impressed.

I need a no BS assesment. What time in 05? Early enough for spring season or late for fall season. Some of us our doing our decoy buying very soon and I need to know. Also, what will prices be?

Scott, Just saw this post. Man, as of sunday, it dont look good down here near our lease. Killed 1 speck and 4 ducks this weekend.
Snows finally starting to show up from the north in some small bunches, 150-300 birds all morning long heading south.
It may be alittle while before we have some huntable number of snows. Starting to see more specks, problem is they are all heading south of us. Hope to start seeing more soon, if we can get some much needed colder weather.

The Snow and Blue Full Bodies will probably not be done for the Spring 2005 season. Dealers who order them will see them with their Fall shipments. The price is not set yet, but we are looking at a retail of around $125 a six pack.
Thanks,

Jed,
From what I understand, there are alot of specks in Arkansas right now along with snow geese and many more to our north. When the shooting starts in Arkansas this weekend, I am sure some of these will begin to move.

What about the possibility of selling the fullbodies with out feet?? any chance of that happening..

There is a good possibility that we will do full body geese without feet and have six motion stakes in the box with them. We have to see if we can do it because the decoys and the motion stakes are not made in the same factory.
Thanks,
