I got my hands on a pair of the calling gloves and I was impressed to say the least. It took a few minutes to figure out what them slits were for but when I go the hang of it I loved it. I'm not to sure how well they will keep my hands warm cause its still nice out :( but they do a great job at hiding your hand flashes without comprimising the sound quality. its about some time someone solved that problem. Nice job to the feller that came up with the design idea

Pintail21,

The caller gloves are flat out awesome! They can be used for more then just calling though! Here are a couple other uses that they can be used for: Release for a Bow and also photographing.
I used these everyday in Canada when I was taking photos. It was 25 degrees and snowed about everyday, with the help of a neoprene hand warmer, my hands stayed pretty darn warm.

Thanks for the post,

pintail21,

Thanks for the feedback on the Fleece Caller's Gloves. Like Bret said, used in conjunction with a Neoprene or Fleece Handwarmer, they will be a welcome additon to your Blind Bag. Keep using them, you'll be surprised how warm they will keep you.

Thanks,
Rob Jepson

Pintail,

I think Rob deserves most of the credit for coming up with this idea and the design. So, he is the feller that came up with this.

The Avery Fleece Caller's Gloves are a great addition to the Avery product line. They are compact enough not to take up much room in your blind or guide bag but provide enough protection to keep the cold wind off of your hands. I used them last weekend while I was deer hunting during Maryland's early black powder season. The first 2 days of the season was cold and damp. The Avery Fleece Caller's Gloves worked like a charm to keep the chill off of my hands. The Caller's Gloves also allow the hunter to maintain much needed dexterity that a lot of hunting activities require. Pintail21 thanks for your purchase of the Avery Fleece Caller's Gloves. Have a great season.

When these gloves were in the works, I was pretty skeptical on how well they would work. Now, I have a pair in my blind bag and my bowhunting backpack. I don't go on a hunt of any kind without them. (Well, maybe a pigeon hunt.) They are an awesome item. I see sales constantly growing on this item.

Careful everybody on giving Rob all of the credit. His head swells up bigger than a watermelon, and it takes us weeks to put him back in his place!!! Just joking Rob, and you were right, they are a welcomed addition to my blind bag as well. The bowhunters should be eating these up!!!!

Where can you get these gloves? I've been seeing posts on 'em for a long time but I've never seen them in a catalog or store.

Thanks,

Dave

Dave, I have not seen them in any catalogs, so try the dealer locator for a store in your area. If they dont have them, they can contact Avery and order them for you.

pintail21,

I use the Caller's Gloves religously. They not only hide the hand flashes, they keep the wind and chill off of your hands. They still give you the true tone with your call. Please keep us informed of your success with them. Every goose and duck hunter should own a pair of these. Thank you for the interest in the Avery product line.

Good Hunting!

Our dealer, who sells a ton of Avery stuff, said he was told they weren't available also. Can someone PM me and tell me where I can order a couple of pairs? Please.

What dealer is that? I will make sure he gets some. We have sold these better than we imagined, so we might be backordered, but I will put his order in as soon as you tell me who and I can call them.
