While in ND last week, I broke a lower frame/frame riser hinge on three of my four Finishers (Yeah, you would think I would have stopped after the first one!!), along with a few of the spring pins in various parts (ALWAYS keep a roll of duct tape in the trailer!!!). Just spoke to customer service, and replacement parts are on the way, n/c! Thanks for the awesome service, Avery!!

To replace the hinges, it looks as though I need to grind off a rivet and remove the lower frame corner brace. I'm planning on replacing the rivet with a SS machine screw and nylock, unless someone has a better suggestion.

Not alot of geese in the areas we hunted, but we sure put the hurt on mallards! We hunted a field one morning as a front was moving through, and the mallards were POURING into the field setup - simply awesome!!!

Thanks again Avery!

Dave, you are way too tough on these blinds, ease up a little. Just kidding, glad you are getting the spare parts that you need. I am glad that you had a great hunt in ND, all those mallards coming in to those dry fields is something to see.

Dave thanks for providing useful info on our website always. Too many times guy's break something and then cuss us up and down like we wanted it to break. Our intentions aren't to screw people and when something breaks we try and fix it a soon as possible. Thanks for understanding, and good luck this season!

Yep, all those mallards pouring in were something to behold. Like something you see in videos and wish you could witness for yourself! Had a similar hunt the last day in fog so thick you could cut it with a knife!

The hinges broke while trying to force the blinds into the Otter sled with a little too much stubble still on them. Kind of like breaking off a screw....you have a funny feeling something's gonna give, just a split second before it actually happens!! Totally my fault, as I told the gal I spoke to.

I was just going to ask how it happened and you answered my question. I was going to post that the only time I have broken one there is when I had a lot of stubble in the blind and forced it together as I was folding it up.
I have heard of other breaking them if they forget to leave the doors open when folding the blind up.
Glad they have you taken care of.
