GUYS I HAVE A FEW HEADS(FLOATERS--LOOKERS & SLEEPERS) THAT CRACKED AT THE MOLDING SEAM OF THE OPENING OF THE HEAD. NOW THEY WONT HARDLY STAY ON THE BODY(REALLY LOOSE) IS THIS SOMETHING I COULD HAVE REPLACED?? THOUGHT ID ASK HERE CAUSE I KNOW THE GALS IN CS ARE SWAMPED.

How many of each do you have that split? It is happening because one decoy body has a post that is just a little big, or is it happening on all of the bodies. Are they 2003 or 2004 models?

I had one that did that. I bought a small tube of Liguid Nails. The cost was under $3.00. I smeared some of it on the inside of the head and let it dry overnight. I made the hole in the head just a little bit bigger with a utility knife and it hasn't split again.

If you don't want to do the above, give Customer Service a call and they will get you taken care of.

GUYS, I HAVE BOTH 04'S & 05'S(IS THERE A DIFFERENCE?) THE THING IS ON THE SENTRIES I HAVE TO TAKE THE HEADS OFF TO MOVE THEM AROUND IN THE BOAT AFTER THE DAYS HUNT TO COVER THE BOAT. I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT GLUING/FASTENING THEM ON BUT I WANT THE OPTION OF REMOVING THEM IF I NEED TO. SOUNDS LIKE I JUST NEED TO TRIM THEM A LITTLE. redface.gif :rolleyes:

The 04's have the flocked heads and the 03's do not. That is the only difference. Which ones are splitting?

OOPS.... 03 04'S NOT 05'S JUST WISHFULL THINKING I GUESS.
JUST ABOUT ALL OF EM REALLY. IF THEY HAVENT SPLIT THEY ARE GETTING REALLY LOOSE. THE SLEEPERS HARDLY STAY ON NOW. DO YOU GUYS THINK IF THE PLASTIC WAS THICKER/STRONGER ON THE HEADS THEY WOULD "LOCK IN" BETTER. MAYBE A DIFFERENT DESIGN WOULD BE IN ORDER.
BOTH THE 03' & 04'S HAVE DONE SOME SPLITTING TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.
