Will the heads work?

I have a friend who is looking to pick up some of the oversize goose floaters. He was interrested in knowing if the rester heads would fit on the sentry bodies. He was thinking of getting the sentry decoys and then buying some of the rester heads so he could switch them out whenever he wanted to. I have not seen these decoys up close so I don't know how the heads fit. I told him that I was sure that they would fit, but he wanted me to check with you guys first before he placed his order.

Great question. Yes they will go on, but these are two different molds in terms of body style. So they won't look exactly right. You will have a pretty good gap as the sentry head post comes up higher. but other than it bothering me everytime I see it, I really don't think the geese will notice until well it's too late!

As of yet, we have not offered the heads for sale without the bodies. I don't know if we will in the future or not, but it is some food for thought.

I have had success doing this but like Travis says, it does not look right. The geese will not notice but you as a hunter will. It is a great idea to sell the heads separately. We will bring this to the table and see what the response is. We will keep you informed of any more news.

My friend saw the heads advertised in the Cabela's catalog. Maybe this was something they were expecting but didn't end up with. That is the information I have gone off of.

Yeah we do offer the heads seperate. They are all over and quite a few of my dealers have them and if you need some let me know.

We make the Canada goose floaters in a Rester and Sentry packages with Sleeper heads as an accessory. When you said Rester, I assumed you were talking about those shorter upright heads. They are not offered seperate at this time.

If you are talking about the Sleeper heads, yes they are available at most dealers right now.
