View Full Version : Trailering FFD's/Zinks trailer?
Hey guys,
I know the trailering topics have been everywhere. but i am trying to think of a way to shelve me FFD's with the motion stands. I already am satisfied with the system we have for the ones w/ legs.
Does anyone know how zinks trailer holds those in the new video? I noticed he had slanted shelves on one side and most of the decoys w/o legs there.
Any ideas on a quick and easy way? I noticed one guy was using flush mount clips. just looking for ideas.
Thanks!

Six slot decoy bags, or shelves is all I can think of. Anybody else?

The 6 slot bags are the way to go. Then they are ready to be taken in the field straight from the trailer, allowing you to carry more decoys per person too.

Sox slot bags are the way to go. End to end running up each side wall and then hang one or two layers up the side walls. Leaves room in the middle for blinds, ect.

I saw on one of the message boards that a guy had made his trailer into a cubby system with cubbys for each deke and carpet on the insides to protect the decoy. He said then he took small bungies and put them across the opening. I dont kno i think the 6 slot back would be good and i also think it would make your trailer heavy but i could see how u could store alot of dekes in a small space

I would say that the 6 slot bags are the way to go, but there was one guy that used hooks and hung the decoys on them flush against the wall. The belly of the decoy was flush against the wall and it did not seem like it would take much work. He had put a plywood wall in the trailer and then screwed the hooks into that.

You may be able to thread long conduit or pvc poles through them, and then suspend the poles from the ceiling of the trailer on rope loops. That is what we have done with our foot base dekes because it seems faster than shelves.
