Got'em. Yeah..........my new GHG Full Bodied Mallards. Oh My God. They look so much better sitting on my garage floor than anywhere else.....well  ....ok!!....but I'm in decoy love :D .
Now....plz forgive me guys, but at the same time I also purchased 1/2 HC's as well. Now, I had done this for two reasons.
1) Different body and head positions.
2) To test the durability and paint....opps thats 3....hehehehe!!.

Though....as for realistic purposes....hmmmmm??!!, HC's don't hold a candle to GHG. Trust me guys, I'm a very loyal customer...even though I have different brands. Be it HC, BF, Fambeau...coff....gag...spit...vomit.. tongue.gif I still have more GHG,and along with Avery products, I'll purchase these 2 well known and quality products over other 9 7/8 times out of 10.
I really can't wait until you fine folks come out with more and better head & body postures and I'll probably say bye bye to HC.

Keep up the awesome work guys. Another very Happy customer.

OBTW..........Thanks Tim.
Rob.

Rob,

Thanks for all the support. Just think four years ago we never thought about making decoys. It has been a short three years. We have had some growing pains, but we get better every year. Thanks for the testimonial.

Thanks for choosing Avery/GHG products. That type of support and loyalty is a big deal to everyone and we really appreciate it. Make sure to post up some pics of all the ducks that fall prey to your FB mallards.

Thanks again,

NICK

Nick, I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered the HC before I knew about the GHG. The first 1/2 doz HC's were fine, but the second 1/2 doz the paint job looked like crap compared to the first box.

Now the GHG FB are perfect reguarding the paint, and the feather detail has me drooling.

I'm gonna use both this year, and see how they hold up. I can already tell the GHG's are gonna be really durable. I'll be storing them in the 12 slot duck bags, but I bet(hope) the paint is gonna be durable enough that they could be thrown in a regular decoy bag.

I really can't wait until you fine folks come out with more and better head & body postures and I'll probably say bye bye to HC.
Me too!

Looks aside nobody touches our motion system...nobody! Then add the looks and durability and no wonder every retailer is selling out of them!

goosehunter64 and oldcutdown, Be sure to vote in my post concerning sleeper/rester decoys if you haven't all ready. I know Avery has a ton of decoys in their "to do" list but if we can spur enough interest in these than maybe they can get bumped up the list. In another post it was mentioned that a dealer had placed an order for an additional 1000 fullbody mallards so obviously these decoys are in high demand. I am sure others will also be interested in a choice of a more relaxed spread. The feeders and actives are great. Just the others would be great as well.

Thanks and you're all very welcome. Well!!, for the first time tonite I had gotten a really good look at my HC's.
This happens to be in great sunlight, so I was very disappointed in their craftmanship. To say the least....and no to tear them down....but their QC on my batch was not what I expected.
I'm not happy.....but I'm that that upset to say that they are junk....even if I had the same thing with GHG. Mistakes and human error happen.

On that note.....and a huge thank you to Tim @ TraderOutdoors...which is where I purchased my HC's and GHG's.....is that he is helping me out regarding this matter, and is going to send my 6 more GHG feeders. Yes.......GHG....guys.... I had both GHG and the HC's on my back lawn this evening....and not only looks.....even though I really like some of the body postures of HC....GHG's motion system....well   ....to say the least, not even close....is an understatement.
Tim....wheather you had, or have to exchange these for me........I don't care....my hat is off to you and you're great customer service.
I look to do more business with you in the future.

OBTW.......I'm also purchasing some long line clips from Tim...and wil be getting some 12 and 6 slot bags from him..............WHEN EVER HE CAN GET SOME FROM AVERY tongue.gif :D .

Again.........my hats off to Tim, Avery, and GHG.

Clayton, I voted on your poll.

The one thing I can think of right now that would be easy for avery to do, would be to come up with a longer stake for the FB mallards, so they could be used in a flooded ricefield. Make it look like the ducks were in sheetwater vs 8" of water and 4" of mud.
