I was wondering if Avery was thinking of a new motion system next year for the fullbodies. I have some Pro Grades right now, I like that they have good movement, but they take time to set up. That is one reason I like fullbodies you just throw them out and don't have to worry about stakes or any thing. I was thinking if they could keep a motion system, but the motion system stays on the decoy instead of taking it off and on. Is there any thought of this. I am not bashing Avery I like the decoys and they look great.

yea that would be nice if they had a motion system but have it like the hunter grade so u just have to throw em out there id like that.

boys,
How much easier do you want it? One decoy, one stake/base. The reason you are getting incredible movement is there are two seperate pieces to make this motion system work. Make this a one piece decoy/motion system and you will probably sacrifice movement! Have you hunted with them yet? The little xtra time it takes to set up bases is worth it.
I CAN'T KEEP THE DUCKS OUT OF THE PROGRADES AND MALLARDS!!!

Well said Zekeland.

In order to get the movement, there can't be anything attached to the decoy. This little thing called friction will hinder any movement. The less there is the better they move.

Thanks,

Sorry dux...the motion system works so darn good, why would they change it? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I am sure glad we make 3 styles of full bodys to keep everyone happy! I gotta say it sometimes is tough to take the extra care/time to set up the right system with the right decoy but the rewards of doing so are well worth the effort!

Guys we always value your suggestions and who knows maybe we will come up with a way we can have the same great movement in one solid piece. Right now it is awesome but we have made a lot of awesome products and made them better over years. Right now these are the best on the market.

Thanks,

Eric

Alright! I was waiting for this to come up and I think you will be amazed at the results. I have some very patient hunting partners until it is time to set dekes. They want to just throw them out and be done, yet they then move them 10-15 times thinking way too much. So we did a little test or field trial if you will. One morning during our early goose we set up decoys and used just the pro-grades with motion on them.(roughly 5-6 dozen) We timed it. We had one guy in charge of setting up blinds, one guy setting bases, and the other following behind with decoys. The next day we threw out all pro-grades with feet and hunter series. Again 5-6 dozen. We also timed this and did the exact same thing but had two guys setting decoys. When all was said and done the difference in set up time was only 5 minutes!!! I will take the extra 5 minutes any day of the week to have the movement you get. Just my two cents.

Travis,

That is a great test. I am with you, I will take the movement anytime, especially if there is only a 5 minute difference.
