Hey Guys, here's a couple of shots of the inside of my trailer where I've incoporated both hanging bars and six slot decoy bags for my Canada goose full bodies.

Mike, that is a great picture and I guess by the cleanliness of that trailer hunting season has yet to begin?

Mike those are great shots of your trailer. What size are those metal poles you are using? Also are those plastic closet rod mounts you used?
I'm in the process of setting my new trailer up and have yet to decided on wood, metal, or plastic for the hanging rods.

Scott, that should proably change in the next day or two! Since I'm kind of a clean freak, I painted my trailer floor with the hopes of keeping it clean and making it easier to wash down. I also added some anti-slip compound to the paint, to prevent a wipe out.
Mike, I used 3/4" conduit, with metal venetian blind brackets. The poles fit into the brakets just right and then the brackets can be snapped shut to keep everything in place. (Like you, I've been contemplating this project for a while.) For security, I added a small brace under the bracket. (If it will help, I'll try and get a close up shot of one of the brackets.)

Looks good, I did the same thing in my storage shed with the poles. I really want to get the bags as they would be a lot easier for one person to move around then on the poles.
Does anyone know where i can get some, they have been backordered through cabelas. Is there any place that sells them for less than 39.99? I need 4 bags.
Thanks

Mike,
The trailer looks good. Looks like those bags are coming in handy. I cant wait for my bags to come. I plan on stopping at Anglers this weekend because I got to take a trip accross the bridge anyway. I Should be picking up some bags from there.

Looks awesome. I just received my trailer and can't wait to get after organizing it after seeing all these pictures of trailer set ups. I'll post mine up when it's done.

Thanks guys! My trailer is 6 X 10. I know it holds 5 dozen decoys on rods and at least another 3 dozen (possibly 4) in bags on the floor.
Mike below is a picture of the venetian blind/GHG decoy rod holders.
Travis, I will. You know I was trained by "THE BEST"! (It's like big brother is watching as we're not even afield and you're still making sure I do things right....good one!)

Mike-How do you keep the hanging decoys from rubbing on each other and causing bare spots as you haul them? We take the trailer right into the fields and some of them (and some interstates) are pretty rough.
Thanks,
Frank

I'm still waiting on my bags. I ordered them probably 3 weeks ago and they said only 0-1 week backorder. Now it is 1-2 weeks and that has been a couple weeks . If they aren't here by goose season(which isn't until like November), I am going to be really ticked off. Anybody know when they will be receiving these?

You will have them by November.

Quickshot, I'm going to try trailering as is. If the decoys rub, I may cut some shop rags and put them between the decoys.
Bearman, the trailer is 6 feet high.

Hey Mike or any of you guys that are hanging your decoys from a pole. How bad is the rubbing on the decoys, the sides of the decoys must rub one another? I am wondering if you had to hang something between them as you had mentioned Mike.
I am sure there is some wear on the decoys. I am just in the process of setting up my trailer. TIA Reg

Reg, mine look fine. I never did resort to putting shop cloth between them. One thing I did do though, was put a little mole skin on the trailer walls just at the point where the decoy bodies may have hit or rubbed. I did so strictly as a preventative measure.

I never really had a problem that was obvious. I did however switch over to the 6-slots and haven't looked back.

Good I will be prototyping my rods and holders this weekend. The rod holders are custom milled alum. Once I get it together I will post some pictures.. Thanks for the info guys..

And lets not forget, Hungle is a little on the fussy side when it comes to his equipment...( Hey Mike)... ;)
The slight touching of them on the pole is very minimal in terms of dekes getting scuffed up in any way...
Almost forgot, Mike are you up for a hunt this weekend, oh almost forgot, you're busy....
LOL, sorry buddy just couldn't help it... :D
