View Full Version : Difference between Looker Style
Since the Looker Style of goose decoys is only available with the real foot base attachement
(and not the motion stakes) in both the Pro Grade
and the Hunder Grade, can someone tell me the difference other than price? Is the body style, paint, etc. different?
I hope to be buying a box or two of lookers, and want some kind of justification for the extra $20 (roughly) a box between the Pro-Grade and the Hunter Series Looker Decoys
Thanks!

The Progrades have a better paint scheme on them and look way better. I got some Hunter series a couple of weeks before I went to a sale that had the Pro-grade lookers. There was no comparison which one looked better and I could've picked them up for $10 extra bucks. Wish I would've waited a little bit and held onto my money and got them.

ebow,
Yes the Lookers only come with Reel Foot bases as this is a stationary bird as opposed to an Active that is walking around. As far as paint schemes go it really boils down to personal preference on the Lookers. Go with the look you like best. I had some of the 04's which is the same paint scheme as the Hunter grades and they looked/performed very well.

I have since switched over to all FFD's.

I would definitely spend the extra money and go for the Pro-Grades. The FFD's are just exceptional, if you get a little more money, go for these.

I agree with Scott. I would definately go with the Pro Grades or the FFD Elites if you wanted to spend the extra money. The FFD Elites look amazing and well worth the investment.

Nice pic Brett... Just so you know, there are no golf courses in Sasketchewan. Do you think you will be ok hunting up there??

The Pro-Grades have a different, more detailed, paint scheme than the Hunter Series. I believe the paint on the Pro-Grades in more realistic and definitely worth the extra money.
