I came on here today to see if Avery had updated the new web-site. WOW was I surprised at what I saw. Stuff from me ( riversledder) that I have never seen before!! I did not understand how any of those posts got there. After asking a few questions at home, I got my answer. We have a teenager at our home that is staying with us for a while. ( dont ask / long story ) He has sat with me on several occasions and looked at these hunting discussion things. I have my name and password taped to the computer because I never realized I would have to worry about anything like this in my home. My bad. All of the recent posts from my name were from this young man. He apparently has been replying to some of my e-mails also. He likes to cause problems and conflict. He said it seemed harmless and entertaining. Lets put it this way. I have a lot of messes to clean up. For all the problems and hard feelings this has caused, I am so sorry!!!! He did get some things correct. I do love Avery products, and I did buy DS goose decoys but that was some time ago and was a personal choice. And I have nothing against Avery at all. I guess I need to be more careful about things I say at home also. I think he got a lot of this stuff from what I have said in casual conversation. I will deal with him and please accept my appologies for all the issues this has caused. I will continue to be an Avery supporter because they are doing good things. I promise you will not see any more posts like this from my name.

If this is true, I have a lot of respect for a person who can admit their mistakes.

Actually I think the original post by your alter-ego wasn't such a bad thing. It brought a lot into the open. I know I had some of the same thoughts as many of the people that replied. If nothing else, it provided a little excitement on the board. :D

RiverSledder if you feel you had to apologize then good. But I truely dont see any reason why you had to. You never bashed Avery, or GHG decoys. You even said you love the decoys. Like I have said,Its a public forum and thats what they are used for. Thanks RiverSledder.

I wasnt trying to say that he really didnt need to apologize, but I just thought why apologize when you really said you liked the decoys and didnt bash them. But it is very good for him to do what is right. All is said and done lets drop that subject for now. :D

Thanks for understanding everyone. Man, I feel bad that so many people got so upset at each other. If I had an issue with Avery I would probably call them. I personally do better on the phone than these computers. Actually I had an issue last year with some teal decoys and called and Avery made good on them. See, good service.
Sorry again.
PS I think a few of you may have gotten PM's from the young man. If any were rude or offensive I am sorry. It was not me!!
