View Full Version : Youth Finisher arrived today

The "Big Brown Truck" made my daughter a happy girl today when he showed up with her new blind. She is almost 6 but wanted a blind just like daddy's when I showed her the advertisement so I ordered her one so she can start taggin along if she wants. I didn't really expect her to be as excited as she is since she tends to be a girly-girl but her excitement was enough to make me melt. Thank you Avery for making the children feel like they are as much a part of the hunt as we are, it gives us fathers a little more leverage to get our undecided kids to just go out and give it a try and as we all know...that 1 time is usually all it takes. Awesome blind and idea! Thanks Avery and thank you Fred and Gunnar! I have a feeling you two had a very big part of this becoming a reality.

Hey Chad im glad you like your kids blind. Now your wife wont mind you coming to OR and shooting geese with me when she says to you "You'r babysitting." All you gotta say is dang straight I am im bringing my daughter with me on a goose hunt.

Glad to see your Youth Finisher arrived. This is a great addition to Avery's line of layout blinds.I am glad to see your daughter shares your excitement. I hope you get to share your hunting and outdoor experiences with her this upcoming season.Make sure you take some pictures.Good luck this upcoming season.

P.S. - Time to pick out a good short reed.

Thats awesome Chad... My experiences hunting as a kid involved laying on plowed up fields, wet to the bone, using a decoy as a pillow to prop my head. Its a wonder I still wanted to hunt when I was older. Glad to see guys going the extra step to get their kids involved- thats pretty cool.
