luvgettingeese,

First, I want to apologize that your post was not addressed earlier. I am not aware of any changes to the 2004 Avery Snow Cover for the Power Hunter blind. The Power Hunter blind is a great blind and the Snow Cover is a valuable accessory, if you live in a area that receives snow annually. I want to thank you for purchasing Avery/GHG products. We really appreciate our loyal customers. If you need additional information regarding Snow Covers or any other Avery/GHG product go to the link below. We have the best Customer Service Department in the business.

Luvgettingeese- Since you must hunt in some snow on at least a now and then basis, have you ever tried the Zink snow spray? You can throw it in your blind bag and have it with to touch up your snow cover or use it when you may not have time to put on the cover. The spring snow goose hunts we never know if we will be hunting in snow or not until we get to the fields, so we leave the covers off. I am going to use both for coyote hunting this winter!

Luvgettigeese,

The change that you are inquiring about was a basic material change to the FlipTop portion of the Snow Cover. In the photo(s) that you are comparing too, the cover most likely had a nylon mesh material. This material reflected UV rays and looked blue when in the snow. The new material is the same material as the whole cover but has holes punch in it for a clear field of view. This material does not reflect UV rays and can disappear in any snow conditions.

If you have anymore questions, please let us know.

Thanks,
