Called Bass Pro this morning to place an order for some motion stakes, and was told that the 2004 models are 18 1/2 inchs, and not 24 inchs as stated. Also checked Macks P W web site and they have them listed as being 18 1/2 inchs also. Is this right or wrong ? THANKS Mike

The 2004 Motion Stakes are 24" long. The 2003 Motion Stakes were 18" long. After receiving feedback from customers, this years Motion Stakes are 6" longer. Just another example of Avery's responsiveness and dedication to its customers.

THANKS Rusty, thats what I thought to, I guess the lady at B P didn't know what she was talking about. Still trying to find the 2004 model.

Thanks Rusty, I've been looking everywhere for the 24"ers without success. I was almost beginning to think I had been misimformed. I've seen the 18's in quite a few stores. Will keep on looking and be a little more patient. Thanks for the info. Jim (jrs08)

Hey Mike & Jim,
Just wanted to say that Bass Pro in Baltimore received some of the longer Motion Stakes yesterday. So, if you haven't found them since the time of your original post, they ought to be hitting area dealers any time now.

Mike and Jim,
I was at Bass Pro in Cincinnati Ohio this weekend (13 Aug thru 15 Aug) and they also had the 24" Motion Stakes. So as Rob stated, they are starting to arrive at some dealers. These things work awesome on Life-Size Series Canada Full Bodies and the Over-Sized Shells.
Thanks,

Thanks guys for the follow-up. Finally ran some down at a Cabelas last weekend. Was one happy guy. My GHG shells should be in this week sometime so things are looking good. Thanks again for the follow-up on the stakes. Jim (jrs08)

The 2004 motion stakes work awesome with the new full bodies. I put some of them on yesterday and got up on my roof to look at them. The realism is unbelievable. Just a slight breeze and the one dozen full bodies were walking. The only part that takes a little bit of time is finding the point of balance on the full bodies and drilling the holes. It is all worth it though and I am sure that you guys will find this out. Good hunting.

I see where they have them in the Mack's catalog. I'm gonna call them tomorrow and place a little order for some. I can't wait to see that movement!
