Just had to share about another awesome Avery product for the blind. Just got one of the new Finisher blind bags. This thing is designed for layout blinds and it is gonna be dynamite. I'd used the floating blind bag before and it was fine but I kept it outside the blind behind my head for room's sake. With this though no turning around or having to get completely out of the blind. I "yard tested" it today and was very happy.

Here's another. Man, it is going to be handy having everything right there at the finger tips and not encroaching on space inside the blind.

That bag was designed just for that in mind. Nice Pictures Jason. This bag will fit perfectly along side anyone in the Finisher® or Migrator® Blinds. The Finisher® Blind Bag will retail around $29.99. You cannot beat it.

That does look a nice fit. My bags in my blind either end up behind my back rest or kicked down to the bottom of the blind under my feet. Looks to be just the right size.

That really looks good in there. It will keep things even more organized and easy to get to when it comes time to pull the trigger.
Another great invention!

That bag is awesome. This will be a perfect fit into our bag line this fall. The bag is roomy enough for use as a blind bag but small enough for storage inside the ground blinds. Definitely a must-have!

Jed - I think that those of use with the floating pit bag, will now just need to find more stuff to bring and get this bag as well. Then we can have one bag for things we need inside the blind and another bag for things we need outside the blind. You can never bring too much stuff with you.

It's nice and clean now, it'd only been out of the box for about 30 min. :D

What's your opinion on mudding the new field khaki blinds? I assume they need it just like the camo, but maybe not. I've hunted out of a shadowgrass finisher last year for the first time the last day of season and loved it.
I have the floating blind bag, not the huge one, but like yall said, it doesn't fit in the blind, so this new bag will be great.

oltcutdown, my take on the Field Khaki is this, I hunted with it not mudded and it has a lite shine to it. I hunted plowed ground that was holding sheet water, my reason for purchasing it. It seems to blend better when the field conditions are really wet/after a rain.
As the field starts to dry, the blind mudded takes a better blend with the colors of the soil. I cant keep trying to clean it for one situation, then mud it for another, So what I found works is to mud the blind well. Pick up a small plastic spray bottle from walmart(1-2 dollars) and fill it with water and leave it in the bottom of your blind.
If your blind is not quite blending with the soil after a rain, simply close your blind and give it a quick spray/mist with the water bottle. This gives it the ''wet/ muddy ''appearence/look, that will blend better in these conditions.
As far as for hunting stubble and pasture, mud the blind well and cover it with killerweed or native stubble/grasses from the field you are hunting for proper cover/ concealment.

Hey Jed, that's a great idea on the spray bottle deal. We have a field that we hunt in that the farmer chisel plows every year. The geese love the field, but our blinds never really look quite right. I've been thinking of picking up another blind in khaki and that tip is exactly what we need to be doing in that plowed field

Jason,
Thanks for taking the time to take that photo. It looks like you're already getting fired up for the fall...
