Just curious what you guys are using to store and transport your shells??? I'd love to be able to store them in Rubbermaid tubs for the simplicity and protection, but they are a hassle to carry back to the truck if I must walk in. Any ideas, thoughts? What sizedecoy bag would fit a dozens shells (w/o heads in the bag). Thanks

Traxion,
For my shells I prefer using our GHG Standard Mesh Decoy Bag 30x50. I only carry my shells in and out of the trailer or truck. I also use our Pothole decoy bag for the heads. Any of our 30x50 decoy bags will hold a DZ shells. If you want to carry more you will need to jump up to our Jumbo 36x58 mesh decoy bag.

Eric,
What town are you from, so I can direct you to the nearest store that will stock our product?

I carry my GHG Shell bodies in one bag and the heads in another. I happen to use the same bags as Eric...the 30X50 for the bodies and the Pothole for the heads.

The Jumbo 36 x58 GHG decoy bag works well for me.
I keep the heads in a thick garbage bags and put them in last after the shells are stacked and placed in the bag. Keeps them from getting scratched up and loose all over inside the bag. Makes it easier to put them on in the mornings as well.

For a dozen, any of our decoy bags should work for you. I can fit about three dozen with heads in a 30X50. If you want something extra durable, go with one of our square bottom decoy bags.
Thanks,

What size of bag will hold 2 dozen, the 36 x 58 I assume?? Will the head fit in as well?? Nearest to me would be Rapid City, Scheels should carry a few things. Any others that carry Avery products??

Looks like I didn't read Rick's post very clearly LOL. Looks like a 30 x 50 would work??

Traxion,
I use a 30X50 and can fit 2 dozen shells in the bag with heads. I could fit more if I would like.

Not many stores out that way. If you know of any let me know and I will work on setting them up. Scheels can special order it for you. If not DakotaMart in Pierre SD. Other wise let me know what you want and I have a store in town here that will ship you anything.

Eric would be the one to answer your question about stores out your way. However, if you can't get to one, Mack's or Cabela's are both just a phone call or mouse click away.

Then like I mentioned, If I have 36 shells in a bag, I will put 36 heads in a thick garbage bag, and set them in last at the top of the bag to keep them from scattering all over the decoy bag.
This also helps protect them in travel. and makes for easy setup in the mornings.
