As much as we all love waterfowling we know how much work is involved in the sport. My ten year-old son, Creighton, mudded his youth Finisher and my Power Hunter that I'm modifying for photography purposes. It's a rare instance when he doesn't complain about doing work and this was one of those. Thank God. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/366/resize769lz.jpg http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/8573/resize1006az.jpg

Jim, that is great. I am sure Creighton will have the passion that we all have, if he already doesn't. Looks like he is on the way.

Jim,
Do you think you could send him to California? I have a couple of blinds that need to be mudded for this year. Great pics and I am glad to see young kids taking time to do things right.

I did the same thing with my 4 year old daughter. I handed her a bucket of mud, told her I was going inside, and that when I came back out, I didnt want know what color the blind was. You would have thought it was her brithday the way she tackled that thing!

I don't know Curt at the cost of gas right now, I highly doubt it would be cost effective to send someone out to mud your blind. You might want to have your girlfriend do it. Great pictures Jim and Jeremy!

Great photo's, Jim.

You can explain and explain it over and over again. Mudding your blind is the most important thing to be done on any layout blind.
