Here is a picture I took a couple of years ago. Not a great photo, but I didn't have a great camera at the time. What I use when filming or taking pictures is a Power Hunter. you can hold the lid up enough to keep you in the shade and can have free motion of your hands and camera. I use a stick I have modified to prop the hood up ever so slightly. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/travismueller1/NorthDakotamorningfive008.jpg

Try holding the camera at you waist with panel out.

Bruce, you should recognize it, but maybe not being is you didn't get a chance to even plant this field this year from what I hear. Ducks are all gone huh? Thank God the walleyes don't migrate!

You could try the Migrator blind. Unhook the seat and lay it flat. You could climb in head first and film out of the zippered end. I don't know how this will work. You may get tired of laying on your stomach. If you want to be comfortable, go with the Power Hunter.
I know none got away on my side. LP pretty much cleaned up anything going out on the other side.

I'm modifying a PH right now for filming. Cut the mesh on bottom and both sides, Bent a piece of aluminum for the cross brace on the hood to make it a little taller. Put velcro on the mesh so I could still use it if needed. Pretty much just made the hood more square and taller in front so I could move without being seen or having the camera rub the blind. XL's are big cams and you need some room to run them.

I have shot some video out of layout blinds and I have found that the Power Hunter was the easiest to use in filming.

I am currently learning how to film from layout blinds as well. I have found when I am doing some photography, that the Power Hunter was by far the easiest blind to shoot photos out. I can already see that filming will be the same way, because I will be able to keep the camera concealed by controlling the lid with my left hand.

Yeah rick you guy's were "on fire" that day. It had nothing to do with the double top secret ammo Lp had along did it?

Double top secret ammo is the best to shoot.
