Im sure this has been covered before..and sorry for posting it up again if it has, but does Avery have any plans for coming up with sleeper heads for the canada goose fullbodies? I remember seeing a post on how you could screw shell sleeper heads on, but i would rather be able to take them off and put them on easy. Thanks for the help, Heath.

wooduckman,

I don't believe those sleeper heads will be available this season, however I am not the authority on production schedules so I won't say that my answer is not beyond scrutiny. What I am fairly certain of is that because of the head to body connections on the Greenhead Gear Full Bodies, the connection will be similar if not identical to the existing one. That means that the heads are designed for semi-permanent installation and as such, they are not designed for repeated removal and attaching.

I have employed the custom method as seen on this Message Board of converting the O/S Shell Sleeper Heads to some of Full-Bodies. It is a simple procedure and will allow you to add this very effective head position to your spread until the production heads can be completed.

This may change, but we don't have a sleeper head in the works for the active full body Canada geese. We want to actually make a body position that matches that of an actual sleeping goose. Just putting the sleeper head on the active body is not anatomically correct.

Thanks,

WOODUCKMAN,

RICK IS CORRECT ON THIS. WE HAVE PLANS ON ONE OF THESE IN THE FUTURE. I'M SAYING 06' FOR SURE, RESTER FULL BODY WITH 3 HEADS. YOU CAN RETROFIT A CURRENT SLEEPER HEAD ONTO THE ACTIVE,CUT THE CONECTION OFF OF THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAD ALLOWING THE HEAD TO SLIDE OVER THE ENTIRE NECK POST AND NECK JOINT DOWN ONTO THE BREST TO MAKE THE BLACK/TAN LINE LOWER AND MORE REALISTIC. YOU CAN JUST SET THE HEAD ON THE BODY EVERYTIME OR ATTACH IT WITH A DRY-WALL SCREW.

GOOD LUCK, FREDDIE
