I'm pre-ordering some full body mallards and would like to know which Avery slotted bags I'll need to transport them? Will the 2004 duck slotted bags work and store the bases in the slot as well? Will I need to use the goose slotted bag?

As for transporting full body geese, I think I'm going to use bags as well. I was considering storing them on a metal rod across the trailer method, but my trailer isn't that tall and I think the bags will be better for me. Will the geese fit in the Avery bags with the foot base attached?

I'm planing on spending some serious money on slotted bags to haul 5 doz GHG goose FBs and 2 doz FB mallards and want to be sure they are going to work.

Mike,

The slotted bags will work very well for your needs. The full body geese to fit into the 6-slot goose decoy bag with the feet attached.

The full body mallards will fit into the slotted duck decoy bags. I would think about putting the mallards in the 6-slot goose decoy bag. You will be able to easily fit two dozen into two bags.

Thanks,

Mike,

Check out both the Slotted Goose and Duck Decoy Bags at your local dealer and see which one will fit your needs the best. Both will work, but if you have goose decoys to transport as well, you may want to get the Goose bags and switch the decoys out depending on your hunt each day.

how big are the slots on the 12 slotted duck decoy bag?

The slotted decoy bags will work fine for you. The bases will take up very little space in each slot and you should be able to get 2 of the full bodied mallards and bases in the goose bag.
