Help ... I broke my Finisher

One of the last days of the season I broke the plastic "hinge piece" for the forward adjustable strut thingy...the frame riser hinge on the lower section!

So I ordered a replacement, and it promptly arrived.

I took a look at it today and found I can't fix it :confused: There appears to be no way to slide the replacement plastic hinge onto/over the tubing. Am I screwed? Man I hope not.

How does one get it on the tubing?

The way I am looking at the tubing, there are no breaks or open spots to slide it on :confused:

I am not sure how you get the hinge around the bend. I have not had one of these break. I am sure that Daryl will answer all the questions you have on Monday.
