I heard that some of you guys like to use the snow goose fullbody slot bags for your fullbody mallards. Obviously the slots are bigger so how many can you fit in a bag? Or would you reccommend going with the 12 slot instead? Nate

I own a dozen fullbody mallards and use the regular 6 slot duck bags and never had any problems with them! A 12 slot bag would work well !

Nate,

I personally use the regular 12-Slot bag for my FB Mallards. I rotate them feeder/active in consecutive slots and have no problems.

I'm with Christian, I have two twelve slot bags and rotate them as well. The decoys keep the bag tight and makes them stack well in my trailer.

I like the 12-slots because they allow you to carry more. You will be able to put 12 on each shoulder instead of just six.

You can't have too many full body mallards.

Thanks,

I like the 12 slot bag. With this bag you can carry 12 full body mallards with no problem and they are well protected. With the 6 slot snow goose bag, obviously you are going to try to fit 2 in each slot and that will wear on the decoys. I recommend the 12 slot bag for that reason.

If you do use the snow bags, they work great. They sit deeper in the bags and have good protection. I put six in each bag, doesn't matter how you put them in feeders or actives.

Let me correct the grammer in your post.

We used the 6 slot full body bags. You can fit a dozen in easy when packing in the fields.

For water we packed in 1 dozen FB mallards and a pile of GHG Hot Buy mallards too. The FB mallards look the best on the waters edges or the ice

Thanks guys for the replies. I'm ordering a half dozen actives.
