I would love to see Avery come out with a smaller goose shell decoy. Any chance of that?

You will probably see it later this summer. We are looking at doing a shell that is about 4-5 inches smaller and lower profile than the one we are currently making.

Thanks,

The smaller shells will compliment the oversize shells well. They will be easier to transport and just as realistic. I wish it would get cold here so I could use my shells. Is it cold anywhere? Anybody?

Good Hunting!

I agree that a smaller shell would be a great addition to a spread. I personally am not one that thinks the size of the decoy is near as important as the realistic appearance.

The weather around here has been very warm as well. We have had a three week stretch of weather around here that seems like we are in early October or March. We sure could use some colder weather.

It almost hit 60 degrees yesterday here in MD. What birds that stuck around are sitting tight all day.

Ohio weather isn't much better and the extended forecast doesn't look very promising either.
I guess I'll do my preventative maintenance on my fishing poles!

Warming up way too much here in Iowa as well. We are begininng to see birds moving back into our area from the south as we have no snow cover and most of the water has opened back up.

Been a very weird year weather wise. White geese are showing up daily in northern MO. Definitely huntable numbers around and more everyday. Need a good storm to slow these jokers down, at least until dark goose season closes...

Guys, if you think its bad there consider that here in Alberta there is not a speck of snow on the ground and our average temp. has been around the freezing mark since November. Our lakes should have about 2 feet of ice by now but most are only 1 foot thick. Hopefully the late winter storms bring us a bunch of snow to fill the sloughs or the ducks and geese will have a hard time finding nesting areas.

Have you guys ever thought of producing a one piece shell in the sleeper posistion?? Man, that woud be nice and it would be great for transportation. I would love to see some of those. What are your thoughts on that.
