I am looking for a layout boat and was wondering what kind all of you use. I want one that will work well in shallow potholes, as well as in open water if possible. Could you guys hook me up with some websites and manufacturers thanks.

I have the Carsten Puddler layout boats pretty good boat for about 500 bucks. They would work great for small potholes. he baot weighs about 70 pounds so it can be easily loaded and hauled in short distance. Do a search on "Carsten Puddler" several retailers carry them along with the company website.

I can give you a ton of links to layout boats. I have done alot of research on this topic. The Puddler is not actually a true layout boat but more of a marsh/sneak type boat. Ther is a ton of info out there about layout boats and this type of hunting I can help you with.
