I realize that these are not Avery products, but I still hope I can get some answers and opinions. Some of the areas that I hunt we have to pack in great distances by walking only beacause the pasture fields are just too muddy. We can usually only carry a dozen full body ghg. I usually mix in 1 dozen outlaws with them. We are starting to get competition from some other hunters now. My questions are as follows. Does anyone else use silos just to add numbers and mix in with full bodys? If so, do you prefer Outlaw brand or Real-Geese brand and why? Thanks for any help given.

I'm not an Avery Pro staffer but I'll offer my help and I hope it helps you.
Alot of guys still use silos. I have some Outlaws that are a few years old that I use from time to time when I need numbers but most of the time I use GHG fullbodies. As far as brand and if was purchasing silos I think I would go with the new Realgeese with the textured sides. The biggest problem with silos is shine and the texturing eliminates that. But on another note. We always have our best decoys in the kill hole so if you can use those fullbodies and then do the same. Put the silos behind you and around your blinds, but put the best decoys where they are the first thing the geese see when they commit. Good Luck.

I agree with Scott! We carry as many GHG fullbodies as we can and use silos to make our spread larger. We use the fullbodies in the "kill hole" just as Scott said. Great advice!
