I know this has been asked a million times , but not by me. I shoot a Super Black Eagle, I use 3in. Hevi-Shot #2 for geese and 3in. #2 steel for ducks. Most all of my shots over the years has been from 20yd. decoy range out to about 45yds. I understand the advantages of using stripper chokes to increase your ranges out past 40yds. I also have heard and read that at close range the pattern from stripper chokes is so tight that there is little room for error. My question is who uses constriction type chokes, and what suggestions for brand and also size of constriction would you recommend for my shell type and also for the ranges that I normally shoot? I had considered a Carlson Extended Steel in Improved Cylinder, but I haven't really heard any opinions on them. Thanks for any help in advance.
