Any of ya'll use seat covers in your truck? I'm having trouble finding much information about them.

Let me know what you have, if you like them or not and why, and differences between the major brands(Hatchie Bottom, Marathon/Superhides, Wet Okole, etc).

Thanks in advance,

I wanted the Hatchiebottom custom covers but they're too much money. I just bought the HatchieBottom universal fit ones yesterday at Cabelas....I'm going to try to put them on tonight...they're very nice hopefully I can get them to fit well.....I'll let you know..

Philip,
I ordered some of the HatchieBottoms and was not real impressed. They were the twill ones, and did not seem too durable so I sent them back. Rob Jepson has some real nice ones in his ride, shoot him a PM and I'm sure he'll hook you up with the info.

Marathon SuperHides are the best I have found. Going on 4 years and these things have yet tear or leak water through to the seat at all.

The only downfall is that they fade, but according to Marathon, if about once every couple weeks, you wipe them down lightly with 303 protectant (special stuff...you can get it at WalMart), the fading will be minimized.

I am looking at getting rid of my set now (RT Hardwoods) and getting another set in Mossy Oak Shadow Grass. Superhides are only seat covers you will see in my truck!!!!

I have the Hatchie Bottoms ones in my truck and they are actually in their second truck and have seen alot of rear ends and miles. I have been very impressed with them and would not hesitate to get another set if needed.

I also have Hatchie Bottoms in my truck and they have been great. Mine have been through a lot and are still going strong.

You guys with the Hatchie's, are they the twill ones or the neoprene??? As stated in my last post, I got some of the twill ones a few months ago, and did not even install them as I did not think they would stand up to the abuse. Maybe I was wrong??

Yea, thumbs up so far for the HatchieBottoms...I got the universal fit ones and they seem to fit just as good as the custom made ones........with a couple little modifications....they work and look great!

I think mine are twill, they are a cloth like material anyway - not neopreme.

Paul I have Twill in the front and neoprene in the back. Mine have faded a ton, but they have not ripped at all.

Not a prostaffer but
I have superhides in max4 on my Jeep. Got them in late summer and really like them so far.

SMK-thanks for the tip on using the cleaner stuff to keep them from fading alittle. I haven't noticed any fading on mine but its in a garage most of the time plus I will take mine off during the summer months

I have the twill Hatchie Bottoms in my truck and they have been worth every penny. They have faded, but they have yet to show much wear. They really get the abuse. I don't know how many people I have told: "Don't worry about it, thats why I bought seat covers."

The best investment for my Tahoe to date (besides my BFG Mud-Terrains) have been my seat covers from www.camotruckseats.com. (http://www.camotruckseats.com.) They are waterproof, padded, stitched, and custom fit.

I've seen the Hatchie Bottoms on others trucks and decided on the others.
