Guys, I was alittle late getting my copy of WW9 this year, but I must say it was the best volume in some time.I really enjoyed the seaduck hunt and the groundblind hunts for ducks as well as geese. Where would we be without these things?
All the guys at Zink as well as many pro-staffers from Avery did a terrific job.

The WW9 video is AWESOME, but my favorite parts are the Zink crew hammering Mallards in Alberta and Geese in Ohio. I must have watched those two hunts 100 times and they never get old. When the Ohio hunt starts and Field is hammering on that Zink goose call my blood just boils. It makes me want to be a better caller. Needless to say I've bought an SR-1 and XR-2 since watching the video.

Hey Rob, you were pretty good yourself :D Some of the scenes of your hunt with all those big canadas locked up and flying over head looked like big B-52's on a bombing mission.

Don't let Rob fool you. He is a natural on film. His previous film experience really shows. I would list the titles of his previous movies, but this is a family site so I will refrain. :eek:

P.S. - I have not seen his other films. I have only heard stories of his performances.

Don't listen to either Rob or Rusty...they are both DVD "stars"...just not the hunting ones! BLLLLAAAHHHAAAAA!!!
I especially like Rob's line, "as good as fullbodies are, it's best to mix things up!"
That's oscar worthy for sure.....

Thanks for the kind words about our hunts on WW9. Field and I had some awesome hunts last year together that we were glad we could get on film. Freddie missed out on some late season hunts here in Ohio due to some carving but I am sure he is going to make the days up this year.
I would like to also thank Rob, Rusty, and Jason for having Field and I fly out to MD and film their hunts. These are all great guys and it made our job alot eaiser because they are great on film. I would like to thank these guys again and I hope when they start smacking them hard this year they call and give Field and I the green light to go back and film again.

Clay, our season opens here soon. You guys know your always welcome to come back out here. Coleen said "heck we'll even put you'all up at our house for the time spent out here." Things are looking REAL GOOD right now. One of the areas that holds the geese is black right now, and more showing up everyday.(We call it the "black hole"). I got a couple things brewing right now for you guys this winter. It should be good for you guys and the other pro-staffers here in MD. Keep in touch.BTW---sent you a PM. Oh yeah, I need about 12 reeds, let me know how much they will cost.

You are right about the geese. It is starting to look good. I am ready to go. Just have to wait for a couple of weeks. Are you coming to the Worlds? If you come, don't forget your video camera. They are going to allow videoing of the contest this year.

The guys from Zink are always welcome. It was a great time filming the hunt.
