I need to get a goose and duck spread for field hunting. What would you guys suggest? I'm willing to spend about $2000. I already have the layout blinds. We hunt some corn and a lot of open cow pastures? What are the must have items in the Avery line?

Lots of the lesser decoys. They all move on motion stakes & they are awsome. I would also have a couple dozen mallards. If you have specks around the lesser specks are just cool !!

I hunt a lot of open pasture areas as well. I really like the FFD's. I have had excellent results with a lot less decoys then other years. I would also invest in Winterwheat Killerweed. That will blend you in nicely in that pasture land. Full Body Mallards are a great addition to our line up. I would dpend most of my money on the FFD's and 6 slots to go with them though.

I would go with a combination of some green head gear full bodies (active, feeding, Alert) and also mix in some of the green head gear shells. Like others have mentioned putting some of the decoys on motion stakes is very deadly when hunting geese.. motion kills. On colder days the shell decoy works great. Good Luck.

I would say several dozen fullbody geese, couple dozen fullbody Mallards, and couple dozen shell canadians with the sleeper heads. The Sleepers are killer when the weather gets cold. The motion system on the GHG decoys is # 1 and motion kills.

Pro grade sentries and feeders. Hunter's series lookers. Lots of full body mallards. Take care of these decoys and they will take care of you!

You cant go wrong with any of the above. A solid mix of motion decoys, and some shells, as well as the fullbody mallards, and you will have a GREAT set up. I am going all FFD from here on out myself.
