How are you guys transporting your motion base duck and goose decoys. I use the bars to transport the foot base decoys. Any pics would help.
Thanks,
Kenny Thompson

Kenny- I am putting mine in 6 slots and stacking them that way. The bases I leave on the floor near the door of the trailer and grab as I need to.

I use the 6 slot bags for the geese and the 12 slot bags for the ducks, then throw the stakes in the bags with the decoys. I keep the motion bases in a bin if I need them.

I used Travis and Rusty's ideas but the bags would definitely be the way to go with the motion base decoys.

The trailer is 12'X 5' V nose single axle with only a rear door.
First image is the cargo netting in the front of the tailer to utilize all of that space I jammed it full of 36 BF FB's and 22 floaters.Oh ya my two goldens just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving them at home.

Image #2 is the custom machined alum brackets to hang my 3/4" conduit from for my GHG life size fullbodies. I get 5 across
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/brobones/trailerworkinprogress002.jpg
Image#3 is what I have in there for now I have a dozen and a half life size in bags, and two dozen magnum G&H shells in a bag on the floor just behind of the tubs that hold my widsocks.
My feeder life size (half dozen) hanging on the racks along with a dozen FB mallards in bags. Along with 500 windsocks in the rubbermaid containers and 3 blinds bungee cord to the wall on the left hand side. I have added another dozen full bodied mallards, half dozen lesser canadas, and another layout blind to that since that picture was taken.
My motion stakes stay in the side pocket with the decoys. I don't use the base style stake. I will be modifying those for deep water setups for my FB's
I have to add another 500 windsocks, e-caller and robo duck. Hope I can get it all in. Once I get my adjustable lights hung on the trailer I will take some pictures and show them off to.

Reg, those are neat brackets. Did you make those yourself?

Yes I did machine those myself, they are strong and work very well.

Reg, that's awesome work. I can see they would work great for loading/unlaoding and keeping everything in place when you travel.
