With the Iowa season ending last week I decided to put down the shotgun and pick up the camera. I guess they know they are safe now, i'd bet she was posing for me!!

That mallard sleeper pic, just proves we need a sleeper head for the FB Mallards.

... or it proves that they should make some mallard shells with sleeper heads just like the geese. I think they would be deadly on sandbars and ice

If there is in fact going to be a FB Mallard in the rester/sleeper pose, what will the base be for it?? Will it still be motion??

Dakota, I would highly dout you will see a sleeper on a motion base, but I could be wrong. I know if they were to bring a sleeper out and it came with a motion base I would never put it on the base.

Nice shots Bloom, that last photo mimics our mallard floaters, and low head mallard floaters to a "T".

Yeah i thought so too Jeremy, i have a bunch more to post and i will probably head out again soon and take some pics, its addicting!! Cant wait to get some good snow and blue pics this spring.
