boat dog ramp

we are looking into building a dog ramp for our boat, any of you guys out there have any plans that your willing to share on how to go about making one?

If I were you I would go with the Double-Duty Retriever Platform, for the money I think that you might be money ahead. In the past I have tried to cut corners by trying to build and do things myself and by the time you get done you could have bought what you are trying to build twice. The thing that that platform has over a ramp is the amount of room it takes up when not in use, the platform will fold flat to 37" x 17" x 3". I don't foresee that a ramp with fold much more compact then that.
