Paul,
How has your season been around our area? This weather has really slowed mine down. I have not seen any new ducks at all. I did manage to go to Ohio this last weekend to goose hunt. It wasnt much better there but I did manage to pick up my first two leg bands. I will try to post some pics later on the board. Are you doing any late season goose hunting?

Dave,
Like you said, it has been a totally different season than I have ever seen. We have been killin' em, but it has been painfully slow. I just came out of the field and have been scouting ALOT the past 2 weeks, from NOVA down to Lake Anna. We do have some new geese, arrived about 2 weeks ago, problem is food is abundant when it is 68 degrees every other day. I noticed a small push of ducks last week, nothing to set the world on fire but some new greenheads and jacks.
From what I have seen this week, to kill puddlers you best be in a swamp/marsh, and to kill geese-well, smoke em while you got em cuz they are moving all over. No set patterns there.
Congrats on the banded birds, thats great. Take care and keep in touch. Post some pictures!!

I with both you guys, reallllll slow. Only a couple of Greenheads and some over various puddlers on the Potomac here and there. I got on one really good goose hunt by the Rapp. river and thats about it.
