For those of you who have experience with both the Migrator and Finisher blinds, what are the differences other than size?

Is one or the other easier to assemble/dissemble?

Is one built more sturdy?

Why are the stubble straps attached horizontal on the finisher and vertical on the Migrator?

Corn Doc,

The difference between the Migrator and the Finisher are:

1) The Migrator is a Full Frame blind with a 50" x 26" shooter's cockpit designed for the bigger hunter.
2) The Finisher folds to 46" x 18" x 6" for
transportation and storage.
3) The Finisher has front/rear adjustment for low profile.
4) The Migrator folds to 54" x 38" allowing it to fit in a short wheel base pickup truck.

Both blinds are very comfortable to hunt out of, the Migrator has a ton of room, allowing your blind bag and other gear to be in the blind with you. The Finisher having the Boot Bag eliminates shadows. I hunt out of them both, you can't go wrong with either one. I would find a local dealer and take one for a test drive to see for yourself.

Corn Doc,

I would say if you are trying to decide between the 2 blinds consider portability. If you can always drive to your spot, go with the Migrator. If you have to occasionally pack your equipment across muddy fields, I would go with a Finisher. The Finisher will give you all the comforts of the Migrator with the added option of being portable. Both the Migrator and Finisher are now offered in Field-Khaki. Avery introduced Field-Khaki this year. Field-Khaki allows a hunter to purchase a proven blind at a great price point. Also for 2004, Avery added a Flag Den, shell holder and can holder to the Finisher blind. Avery also redesigned the Migrator for quicker set up and take down.

Both blinds can be set up and taken down with in minutes. Both blinds are sturdy and durable. They are built to stand up to the rugged use that hunting equipment goes through each season. In my opinion, the CamoStraps horizontal versus vertical are a matter of personal preference. As long as CamoStraps are present, you can stubble your blind to break up the blinds profile. I have attached a link below for additional information on each blind.

I hope this helps. Have a great season.

Corn Doc, It depends on whether or not you want to be portable or not. I hunt out out of a finisher if the location is hard to get to - like if you have to walk a half a mile or so to set up. If you don't - I recommend the migrator because of it's room and comfort. If price is any consideration, go with the field Khaki - it's about $50 less in either blind and the camo versions get mudded anyway so the camo doesn't really matter all that much.
