ONW,

It's good to hear that you have taken on the task of filming because it is not as easy as it seems. First thing I would do before we jump to the editing is make sure you have good footage that you can use to entertain with. We have alot footage that never gets used because something was not just right.

A good video needs to keep people's attention. Make sure you mix it up with birds working and then put in people calling or focus on there face as they watch the birds.
Just try to make it as interesting as possible.

As for the editing part I will let Field tell you all the details about it.
I hope this has helped you out and good luck with your filming.

Ardrew,

When editing your footage on the computer just nake sure it is something that gets your blood rushing. If you want it to be interesting to your audiance make sure you show stuff that they like. What might be important to you may not be to them. Edit to your music. If you have fast powerful music make your edits fast and to the music, if it is slow then use slow motion. Try different effects but do not over due it. Just use effect to make the footage flow together.
If you wish to discuss further give me a call.

Thanks,

Field,

I used your editing tips on the computer and the movie is already almost twice as good as it was, if i keep using these tips the movie is sure to entertain!

Clay,
I didn't get a chance to use your filming tips yet, but i will when i go duck hunting tommarow, and goose hunting on Sunday, and i'm sure my movie will come out great when i'm done.

Thanks Again Guys

Field and Clay,

Used both of your tips on sunday during a goose hunt. We only took 4 birds but it came out very good after we filmed it and edited it.

Thanks for all the help,
Andrew

I am glad it worked out for you. The best thing when filming and editing is to be creative and have fun...if you don't enjoy it...nobody else will either.

Take Care,
