windlife goose heads

Just wondering if the "windlife" candada goose heads will fit the GHG full bodies, and would you put them on feeder bodies or sentry bodies?

Welcome to the Avery Message Board. Windlife heads will not fit GHG Full Bodies. If you want to add motion to your GHG Full Bodies, use GHG Universal Motion Stakes. I use Universal Motion Stakes with my Active and Feeder style GHG Full Bodies to provide motion in my spread. Universal Motion Stakes can be used with GHG O.S. Shells and Full Bodies. Trous- I will second Rustys' opinion on the motion stakes. They are easy to use, easy to set up, and eas to use. The motion they add is unreal, and very realistic. I havfe used motion stakes on ratios from small spreads doing 50 percent to bigger spreads of about 30 percent, and they are awesome!

It's my opion, but Windlife heads are not very realistic looking. They also don't move as much as advertised. Go with the Avery Universal stakes, they put a flock at our feet this weekend - A lot of bang for your buck -$20 a dozen. It doesn't get much cheaper.

Thanks for the help guys. I have been having trouble getting local birds to commit, they keep seeing the same old spreads, and any motion will help me.

Take the "cup" off the windlife head and put a slice in the male end of the GHG decoy. Take the metal band that would normally stick into the WL cup and shove it into the slice on the GHG. It will not effect being able to put the original head back on and will add a different look to your decoys. Windlife heads work fine and IMHO should be stadard equipment. Good luck.

DITO to whay Troy said.......... also. The windlife heads DO fit the GHG shells. But, the "cup" end on the wildlife head is too thin diameter, so we put a couple wraps of duck tape around it to make it thicker. WL heads combined with a GHG shell on a motion stake is killer in my opinion.
