Field or Clay......XR-2/Power Hen Question?

Hey guys,

I have heard great things about your duck calls. I really want to blow one in person before i buy it though. That said, i was wondering if there were any plans for a wood (maple/Bois D'Arc) XR-2/Power Hen?? I really like the tone that a meat call gets through wood so i was wondering if it was in the works or not?? if not, is there a way to "special order" one??

I can't say we will never do the Power Hen in a wood but I am sure that we will never do the XR-2 in a wood. The thing with the XR-2 is that all the tuning lies in the tone channel. We have to sand it to get it right; any wood swelling could cause it to fall out of tune very easily. Like I said before I am not sure if we will get into wood duck calls or not, maybe in the near future. If you have any further questions give me a call.
