Currently I own 3 goose calls tuned high, medium, and low. the only problem is that the low i can't double cluck. anyway, i also have 2 duck calls. do you think i should have less or more calls. oh yea and i have a pintail, teal, widgeon whistle

Use as many calls as you think you need to get the job done. The number of calls a hunter carries is a personal preference. When I am goose hunting in a field, I have two calls with me;LM-1 and SR-1 or RH-1. If I am hunting water, I will have a Power Hen, Maple SR-1 and RH-1. Carry as many calls that you feel you need to get the birds in the decoys.

My current lanyard allows for 6 calls and a whistle and I have it filled. I have a good variety of calls to match the areas I mostly hunt and I am proficient on each. For ducks the Power Hen and XR-2 from Zink covers almost every situation I will encounter. I also have one of those multi whistle jobbies for pintail, widgeon, teal, drake mallards and woodies. For geese I usually have an SR-1, LM-1, PM-1 and I also have a polycarb pm-1 on there. When I hit the prairies in Canada I switch out the SR-1 and the Poly PM-1 for a good snow goose and speck call. In my blind bag I have extra reeds and calls, just in case. It is pretty easy to switch out calls on the lanyard and sometimes you end up chasing after the unexpected so it doesn't hurt to have a few exrta calls. As far as mounts go it depends on your tastes and how much room you got. My walls are filling up and lately I have been having the suspended mounts on fishing line thing. When I hunt i carry out between 4 to six calls know matter where i'm hunting....i mainly carry out one maybe two goose calls....my favorite one I use is the Market Hunter...the other ones are all duck...can't have too many duck calls around your neck...take care
