I want the honest truth about layout blinds. What blind is going to be the best that money can buy it will keep me warm dry and concealed. Wont rip or tear very easy. Thanks in advance, Michael

Michael- My answer would somewhat depend on where you hunted primarily. If you hunted nothing but small grain fields with little to no cover, then I would say Powerhunter hands down. It has an incredibly low profile, is lightweight, great field of view. With the dome lid on it, you can turn your head to track birds without getting busted much easier.
If you hunt alot of cornfields, or taller cover, edges of lakes etc. I would maybe lean towards a Finisher. The profile isnt quite as low as the Powerhunter. Overall, I use my Powerhunter 90 percent of the time no matter where I am at. It's hard to beat it, but in corn, I do prefer my Finisher. They are both good quality blinds, they both break down and set up in 30 seconds or less. They are just different tools for different jobs. If price is a factor either way, look hard at the khaki version. It will save you a heap of money!
Good luck- thanks for choosing Avery!

Michael,

I used a Power Hunter blind 100% of the time this past season. The Power Hunter sets up in seconds, allows for a great 360 degree field of view, and keeps you dry when hunting in wet/muddy fields. The Finisher is another great blind that allows you the portability of a Power Hunter and more protection from the elements. The Finishers weighs 7 lbs. more then the Power Hunter. The Finisher also sets up in seconds and can be easily concealed with just a little brushing. The material on all of Avery's Layout blinds is durable. I have a Finisher blind from the first year they were produced and Power Hunters that have completed three seasons of use without any breakage or signs of wear. They are just dirty. I would strongly encourage you to look at Avery's Power Hunter and Finisher Blinds. In my opinion, they are the best blinds on the market. I have attached a link below for additional information regarding Avery's Layout blinds.

Michael,

No surprise here but I am in agreement with both Mark and Rusty. The PowerHunter is my go-to blind...

Partial to the Finisher--Folds well, transports nicely and conceals well. I personally just dont like the big screen in front of my face-I cant see thru dem tiny holes-LOL. My advise would be to get in one - check it out and see what suites you and your hunting style the best. I dont believe you could go wrong with either blind.

Hey Dave, You can fold those camo screens back. Just fold it back to the lid and velcro it. Thats what I do to mine on cloudy days.

I agree with Dave While I like the powerhunter, The Finisher is my go to blind.
Mark made a great point, I think it depends on where you hunt and what your conditions are. I need a blind that can sit in alot of really muddy condtions to water reaching 5-6 inches.
This is where the Finisher/neo-tub combo earns its money. This great combo works great on decoy shy birds that are skirting pitblinds and hitting those corners of the ricefields where they think you cant get to them.
The Finisher/neo tub is a great equalizer in this department.
Between the Powerhunter, Finisher or Migrator, When it comes to groundblinds, Avery has you covered.
Thanks for considering Avery and let us know if we can be of anymore help to you.
