Hey, i just purchased a half doz pintail decoys and 1 doz full flocked canada floaters!!! cant wait to use them!! just curious, i am building a box blind that i am going to put out at one of my good spots, and just curious if you had any suggestions on how i should build it or if i even should?? (Land is Private, but you can access using high water-mark!!!) also, do you think i need anymore dekes, i own 1 doz hotbuy mallards, 1 doz LS mallards, 1/2 doz green wing teal, 1/2 doz pintails, and 1 doz goose floaters?!

For your blind I would suggest blending it in with your surroundings. If the ground is flat, this would be a good time to invest in a layout. If there is short weeds and shallow water a Finisiher or Migrator with a Neotune would be perfect! As far as decoys you have the makings of a good spread. Try to match the birds in your area in numbers and species. If you have a good number of honkers using your area remember that ducks of many species LOVE to land with honkers! In a lot of the waters I hunt, if I had to hunt with only one species of decoys it would defintely be all honkers.
