How was Saskatchewan for yah? We were up there about the same time you were I think. We ran into a warden (Randy Forsight I think?) I mentioned that he had talked to you earlier in the week and said you guys were getting a lot of geese but not many ducks.

THE GOOSE HUNTING WAS ACTUALLY VERY POOR. YOU COULD KILL 20-30 GEESE A DAY BUT ONLY A FEW WOULD GET IN THERE INSIDE OF 30 FEET(CAMERA GEESE),SO IT MADE THE FILMING VERY TOUGH PLUS THE FIRST 8DAYS WE WERE THERE IT RAINED OR SNOWED EVERY DAY AND WE TRY TO NEVER FILM IN THE CLOUDS, THE FOOTAGE LOOKS VERY DARK WITH NO COLOR. THE LAST 6DAYS WE HAD SUN SHINE AND HAD LOCATED A LOT OF DUCKS AND SHOOT 48 DUCKS EVERY DAY. THE GEESE WERE VERY SMART DO TO A LOT OF HUNTING PRESSURE, THE LACK OF WATER HAD EVERYONE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. ONE DAY I COUNTED 14 DIFFERENT TRUCKS SCOUTING GEESE "IT WAS TUFF". THE HUGE FLOCKS OF DUCKS THAT WE DECOYED ARE STILL IN MY MIND. HOW ABOUT YOU?

We had an awesome hunt on the snows. Those E-callers made all the difference this year. We started out with an evening shoot, since it was the first day of all day goose hunting in our zone. And did pretty good. The next morning we got about 50 I think. It was good, but we weren't quite in the flyway. The 3rd and 4th days were just awesome. We got 70 snows and 6 darks the 3rd day, which was as good as we thought we could do, 10 short of a 4 man limit. On day four it just rained geese. We dropped our 80 birds in an hour. The amazing thing was the fact that we had a complete lack of weather. In fact the last day was the worst as far as weather. After 4 days, we only needed 30 more for our possession, so we decided to just get back to ND and rest and shoot ducks. One thing that scared me was the complete lack of ducks. We shot 2 ducks in the whole trip. Usually from my experience you can't keep the mallards out of the snow goose decs in the fall.
