As said im my previous post im an avid duck/goose hunter. Ive been goose hunting for about 3 years now. Im jsut now learning how to call. Are there any tips or secrets you could give me to help bring them down eaiser. Or do i just need to go buy an instructinal video ?
Play a tape and turn the volume up REALLY loud!

yes...i agree with Hess...an instructional is the best way to go...unless you have a friend or a close by goose calling buddy that could help you out in person...or try to travel to a show and talk to a caller or call maker, sometimes they can help you out more than you think...there are a bunch of good tapes out there to get...honker talk is a great one that just came out last year... in this Shawn Stahl goes through everything from the beginning...great for any starter or even a guy that is already an avid hunter...good luck my friend...SEAN~

I would say the instructional tape is the way to go also. They are like cheat codes for hunters who don't have as much time to spend in the field. You can not only pick up all the sounds but more importantly pick up when to make them. They have been a great tool for me.

I agree 100% with the audio and video tapes. I also suggest going to contests and listen to what the best callers can do. I've also found by getting to know some of the best callers and spending time around them I've been able to improve. finally but not least of all...calling is like music....the only way you get better is practice...practice and practice!
