Fred is in China right now and is unavailable to get to the Message boards. He asked me to inform him of any questions and then reply with his response. The Life-Size Active-Style Full Body Canada Geese will be hopefully available in stores by August 15th. The Life-Size Feeder-Style Full Body Canada Geese should be available in stores around September 1. The retail price on these should fall somewhere between $125 and $140 per 6-pack depending upon the store where you purchase them. As we get closer to ship dates we will update the message boards and the website. Wade, you also might want to call Avery and ask for Brent to put your name on a waiting list for full body geese.

I was at the Can-Am for the Goose calling contest and you are right...that Pheasant Sauce was killer.

She will need the following information:
1. Your Name
2. Phone number
3. E-mail address
4. Shipping address
5. Closest Avery dealer
6. Where he prefers to buy the decoys
7. How many decoys (4-packs only)
8. Style of decoy (Active or Feeder)
9. Species of decoy (Canada goose is all we will offer for September season)
10. Date needed

Please have this information available when you call. It will make this process much easier.

OUR LIFE-SIZE FULL BODIES MEASURE 23.75 FROM BREAST TO TAIL. BIG FOOT MEASURES 26.25, SO WE ARE SLIGHTLY SMALLER. THESE DEOYS ARE THE SAME SIZE AS A GIANT CANADA AND BOTH THE FEEDER AND ACTIVE STYLE BODYS WILL HAVE TWO DIFFERENT HEAD POSITIONS. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADD ADDITIONAL HEADS TO THE DECOYS AS WE GO TO GIVE THE DECOYS A LIFE LIKE LOOK.

Fred, we have one of the honker shells where I work and the paint is good, but the damn thing is SHINY!! is this going to be fixed before full production starts?? And will the Fullbodies have the same coating as the shells?

JUST A NOTE, ALL 03'DECOYS PRODUCED FOR XPS AND GREENHEAD GEAR DECOYS WILL BE PAINTED USING MATTE FINISH COATINGS. SOME OF OUR 02'DECOYS HAD A SHINE ON THEM DUE TO THE THICKNESS OF THE PAINT. WHEN MATTE PAINT IS APPLIED TO THICK OR WITH A BRUSH, THE PAINT APPEARS TO BE SATIN.

They told me it is a test sample, and I didn't get all the details but they said the Avery Rep brought it in, they did mention something about it changing before they hit shelves and they were to be 49.99 per half doz. I know it isn't a Bass Pro deke because the store I work in is a competitor of Bass Pro... Glad to hear they won't have the shine to em, Ill be picking up a few dozen fullbodies from you boys later this year if thats the case. Thanks for clearin' it up Freddie smile.gif

Just curious, is there going to be enough to fill the demand this year? I guess I would like to get my hands on a dozen, but I am just wondering if everyone that wants them is going to be able to get their hands on them. Also, I was in Scheels in Fargo this morning and a salesman told me that the local avery rep told them that they won't be getting them until later this winter, maybe next year. Is this old news?

Well thats too bad, but at least you guys got to meet each other and get out there in the field...any day hunting is better than a day of school!!!
