Mudding Question

This morning I felt an urge to do something with goose hunting so I mudded my layout, my question is that I live in an area that has very red clay but where I hunt the soil is darker, does it really matter or should I find darker mud.

Connor, In this situation, I would try to get some soil from the area you hunt and re-mud your blind.

I agree with Jed. Unless with the introduction of killerweed and surrounding vegetation it won't show much, I would still be carefull of any contrast.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'm going to buy a pack of killer weed. Also does the all terrain work in both winter wheat and corn?
