we knocked over some sweet corn yesterday and want to get the birds workin in our fields for opening day so i put out about a dozen decoys. they are very dusty from sitting in the basement for the last six months what is the best way to clean the flocked heads to get the dust off?

David,

If the decoys only have dust on them, I would lightly hose off entire decoy with clean water. If the flocked heads have caked dirt on them, lightly brush off with soft bristle brush. Good luck and post up some pictures of opening day.

i just wiped them down with a wet rag they cleaned up nice. put them in the field and called the first flock of the year in thats not saying much this time of the year you could probably decoy them in a parking lot now

David,

Sounds like you will have a good start to your season.
