She is 9 months old now and I have hopes of a great yr. waterfowling. I plan to hunt her out of my two man layout. Can't wait.

Congrats on the new addition...she looks great! What is her name?

I've attached a picture of my 15 month old YL Abby from last Saturday's efforts in the dove fields. (I'll apologize here for making MB members look at this picture again as I have posted it a couple of times already on various threads...I guess I'm just a proud Poppa')

In all seriousness, I think we all should be proud of our dogs. Mine isnt perfect, but he makes up for it in many ways. From finding cripples to just lying next to the blind ready to accept that nice pat on the head and words of praise for making the day better.

And when it all works,, It sure is fun watching them make the perfect retrieve, and having your buddies say,, Wow ! did you see that?

Her name is "River" I have been training her since she was 9 wks old. I can't wait for the season to open here. Won't be long now.
Thats an awesome pic of your dog. We definately get attached don't we. I have been training River out of my two man layout boat, and out of my grassed up broadbill.
