Got this from one of my fellow DU committee members.....
Ed volunteered to take a friend's 10 year old son duck hunting last Saturday. The boy planned to hunt with a 12 gauge single shot. Ed bought a box of 2 3/4 inch hevi shot magnums to keep the recoil down. Ed was hooking up the boat and handed the boy the shells to put in his stuff. The arrived at the duck blind just before shooting hours and setup a few decoys. They got in the blind to get ready and the boy had laid the shells down somewhere but they were not in his bag. Lucky, Ed had 2 3 inch magnum shells in his hunting coat from his last duck hunt. The hunt was on with only 2 shells. The result... the young man bagged 2 green heads with his 2 shells, his first ducks!
