Hey boys I'm new here and have enjoyed some of the posts that i have seen in the past here...I'm not one for all the bashing like I have seen on the other forums...so here is a little bout me--
17 years old--Senior at Greenville High School...I play football and baseball
I'm goin to the University of Illinois Next year for a degree in Agribusiness and Farm Management--I live on a grain farm in Pocahontas, Illinois
I have been waterfowl huntin since about 1998 and its by far my favorite
I blow a rich n tone short barrel and the canada hammer II..those are my primary calls
I primarily hunt a 20 acre slough right by our house(200 yard walk from house to blind) but other than that we have a 20 foot jon boat with a 90 horse mercury jet pump that we take to Carlyle Lake
We have been really gettin into goose huntin this year and we killed 78 canadas this year...i think thats decent for southern Illinois these days..lol
We used to hunt the walkins at carlyle but got tired of the idiots so we have learned to go elsewhere for the birds but we only came up with 70 ducks this year
I think im like most of you guys its not about how many you kill but the memories made while doin it...
