First it was "the weather's too bad to bring out my good camera" and now that you've broken out the camera it's "I can't get photobucket to work".

Just messin' with ya'...keep them coming Mark!

Mark...are you using a polarizing filter?

Rob- No, not yet. I intended on shopping for an extra lens yesterday and filters, but ended up truck shopping instead. I meant to ask you though, what ones do you recommend? Any colors inparticular, and for what situations? I really like your early morning shots with sun in the background etc... what are you using?

Mark,

I am not an expert by any means but a std UV filter is mandatory, if it does nothing else but just to protect the lens glass. I also stack a polarizing lens on top of that. It is not one that needs to be manipulated to line up the gradients but just slap it on and shoot. The PL will knock down a lot of glare, etc, especially around the water and will add richer colors (at least that's my take on using one.)
