Do the Lessers that Macks carries have flocked heads? I have called 3 different times and they always say to call back and talk to someone else. The catalog and internet site say nothing about the heads. Thanks,

James

Thanks for your interest in the GHG Lessers and to answer your questions yes, the lesser fullbodies all have flocked heads.

...this guy pitched to an all-Lesser Spread on the Eastern Shore. They were the last birds he ever saw...

Rob,

Great Photos. I can't wait to add some of those Lessers to my spread.

Every Canada goose decoy we make has the flocked head - standard. It would be inferior to do any less at this point. Don't forget about the FFD Elite Series Lessers coming out this summer.

Thanks,

I was suprised to see that you don't flock the white cheek patch also

I like my lessers, they are cute little dudes!

It was experimented with when we first began flocking our GHG Cago heads but after those initial tests it was decided that the white didn't need flocking. If anything the issue of cleaning the white (vs. the black) outweighed any benefit of flocking the cheek patch.

Thanks for the pics. I just ordered a dozen GHG shells from Macks and now its time for some lessers. My wife keeps asking my where are we going to store these. I say the closet of course, her extra clothes can go in the attic :)

Being a bit smaller and lighter they move in very little wind and look just like a waddling goose

You are right. These decoys move awesome in very light wind. The FFD Lessers are unbelievably lifelike and will definitely have a spot in my spread this fall.

Im looking to buy some GHG Canada deeks real soon. I was planning on gettin somewhere around 2 dozen shells and 6 lesser full bodies. Do you guys think that would be a sufficient spread, would the geese come into it if I were working traffic. Any suggestions would be appreciated, like how many decoys I might need to add, the types of deeks Id need to add, so on.
